Remarkable Flying High Surprise at Castle Hill

Onkita and Ameya were in for a remarkable flying high surprise at Castle Hill for their engagement session. We trekked out to the lighthouse at “golden hour” and it was just breathtaking. The light was stunning at dusk. Sailboats speckled the water which made for the quintessential Newport backdrop. I enlisted the help of my very talented videographer friend Chris Walsh of Newport Films. He helped me surprise the couple with spectacular drone aerial footage which I directed. He then turned into a short film for their “Save the Date” to pair with the gallery of my still images, which you can preview below. 

Some of the highlights from their shoot were when Onkita and Ameya jumped up on the deck of the lighthouse, it appeared as they were floating on air. The horizon line blended sea into sky. It was magical to take in. The incredible drone aerials of them on the jetty pans out to showcase the gorgeous Newport R.I. coastline at Castle Hill.
